Animal Myths, and Other Natural Misconceptions With Dash, Part Two

On today’s episode… …what animals eat.

So, you may have learned in school that Animals that eat plants are herbivores, The ones that eat meat are carnivores, and ones that indulge in both are Omnivores, right?

Well, here’s what I’m about to tell you. The Lines between Herbivory and Carnivory are actually more Blurrier than you’d think!

For instance, Crocodillians like Crocodiles, Alligators and camain are usually portrayed as carnivores, however, from recent studies, it was revealed that these reptiles would actually happily eat fruits and veggies as well!

Lions have also been observed eating grasses, which is believed to help soothe upset stomachs!

On the other spectrum, usually herbivorous animals like deer, cattle and sheep have been noticed to eat birds, rabbits and even snakes. Usually they do this if they’re not getting proper amounts of vitamins and minerals in their diets, but other times they might do it because they want to break up the monotony of eating plants all day.

So yeah, here’s how you should look at Animals from now on

There are Obligate Herbivores and Carnivores, which ONLY eat Plants or Meat respectively, Then there are Facutative (Can’t spell that word atm) Herbivores and Carnivores, which usually eat plants or meat, but will visit the other side if they choose, and finally Omnivores, which will eat both meat and plants.

Stay tuned for Part three!

And Naturally, this would likely apply to the Dinosaurs too.

I’m not against the idea of a Tyrannosaurus Rex eating some grass or whatever to sooth an upset stomach.

Nor am I against the possibility of Pachyrhinosaurus or Parasaurolophus adding some nutritious meat to its diet, via insects or whatever!

Can I correct the grammar in the title?

Doge got mad at me last time I did it.

I don’t understand what you mean. There ISN’T any-

Not that I see, anywho.

Animals and Other Natural Misconceptions With Dash, Part Two.

I see nothing wrong with it.

Titles are capitalized usually.

I’m just saying that “other” and “with” should be capitalized. (Not to be rude or anything, I’m so sorry.)

Happy now?

And I usually do that because it’s my choice, that’s all.
