Simple numbers for you
We have 145+ collections that we need to update constantly, and 7698 cursor packs(the largest of all competitors)
We have designers that want to try something different and draw something new (usually those get the most installs)
And the last one, we currently have about 9 million monthly active users on all of the Custom Cursor extensions and apps combined, that’s roughly 57-120 new cursor ideas per day gathered here, our e-mail, support form, social networks, and discord. It’s impossible for us to create all of them.
That’s why we share our designers’ time between all of those. And as you can see those mostly are dependent on your votes and installs we get from them. And cursor pack installs show us what people like more directly, that’s why it is the best metric
I’m not saying that we are perfect or that we never miss a good idea, I’m just showing that you do not see the whole picture. We do miss some ideas here, and usually, people point them out to us.

honestly i have to thank custom cursor for introducing me to a lot of cool games (i didn’t know about bendy until 2020), so the work has paid off, i think :)

But I do agree it ain’t easy to just add a cursor into thin air
It probably takes time to do and sense there’s like 100 cursor ideas every day and stuff

this is also why i ask for cursors for underrated games: to me, it seems like a good way to give a game the attention it deserves (the world ends with you), so keep at it :D
