Your and You’re are NOT spelling mistakes
They are GRAMMAR mistakes
“Your” is possessive, “Your cat”
“You’re” is a possessive adjective, “You’re a cat”
Most “spelling” mistakes are actually Grammar mistakes. So this goes for things like:
- “to” “too” and “two”
- “It’s” and “Its”
- “Where” and “Were”
- “Then” and “Than”
- “Who” and “Whom”
the last one is understandable though.
“Who” is people and Whom is used for verbs or prepositions
Verb: ‘To whom was the letter SENT for?’
Preposition: ‘One of whom you’ll need TO take with you.’
