i personally know a good friend who i just recently learned that she was raped by her ex, now ever time i see him i have to restrain myself from jumping him, she hasn’t told anyone since she is too afraid that her parents will kill her if they found out, which just means that he just gets away with it, which is not cool. i’ve considering getting in touch with her parents to tell them about him, since he shouldn’t be walking around here right now.

Im not a victim of rape , but i am a victim of SA. I really hate when people are like “you probably wore something revealing when that happened.” most people didnt even wear ANYTHING LIKE THAT, not even me when that type of situation happened.
Its saddening to see people just go through these situations in general, and being scared to even go anywhere because of it. I have that exact fear when i go places that just seem off
Ive recovered from my experience thankfully (its been about 2-3 years since it happened) , but some havent and i wish that one day those whove been through this get the help they need.

like, sometimes people who are victims of that have this whole build up of pressure & trauma due to it that they well , do that
yeah and most people who that happens to dont actually tell anyone due to threats or being scared of what would happen
