Well, the area known as The Forbidden Sector, was once a tropical base established by the S.U.M.D.A., which was once called Research Outpost Alpha, but a sudden catalystic event struck the island where the R.O.A. was, and charred the terrain into unforgiving wasteland, leaving a massive smouldering crater where the Research Outpost once stood… oh yeah, and there’s also monsterous beasts from the depths of Mankind’s worst nightmares that call the smoking calderas of the Forbidden Sector home… only those who are fast and stealthy, or those who can handle the blood-boiling atmosphere of the island have a chance at doing retcon in these areas.
