i usually take Christmas as an opportunity to get things ive wanted for a long time
But really the only thibg i want is uber expensive ($5000!!)
I want to work for it myself but mom said “you cant get a job until you graduate” or “you can get that as graduation present”

I usually let them decide to get me something, mainly because I am fortunate enough to have family that knows my interests and good gift ideas.
Last Christmas, I had gotten a new computer, miles better than the one I had. Been using it excessively ever since. When I get a gift, I usually want to use it a ton before ever setting it down, so I can show that I truly appreciate the gift.
Saying thank you is almost never enough.
