Do research on islam before converting, don’t worry about which thing you can study first
try studying the prophets first

Majority of people on here are not really muslims so they cannot give you a straight answer on that
Though, i do have to warn you that there is a “sect” called shias
Sects are not allowed in islam

Religions aren’t strictly for certain races, religions are supposed to be accepting of anyone who’s any race so you can be able to convert to which ever one you want to believe in
