What if you make another extension, or have a feature in the cursor extension that is all about that?
Basically, you can have the options to have it turned on when idle or to turn it on whenever you move
And you would leave a trail of sparkles or whatever it may be
this could really help set CC apart from the thieving competitors
And allow people to upload gifs, along with being able to upload images that make it look like falling particles
I got this idea because i remember when my mom used to have a blog, she coded that website to leave a trail of sparkles whenever you move your cursor
AND I WOULD ALWAYS GET ON IT TO SEE THE SPARKLES

I actually think this is a really good idea, i mean it might end up lagging out a few times but i still love the idea
I tried to search for programs that allow you to have trails, but i found absolutely none

It being a looped gif will most likely help it not lag

Canva also has a sparkle trail on it’s main page, if you hover your cursor over the purple box it’ll make the cursor emit sparkles
