To those who are new here…
“DON’T PLUCK THAT WEED!” is a series of where i talk about facts about weeds and why you should keep them. My goal is to take away the lies about weeds and have fun writing about them.
I hope this will educate everyone who wants to study about plants.
Let’s start off today with the Dandelion. the Dandelion has so much health benefits such as strengthening the heart. the flower tastes sweet while the stem is bitter. However, the stem can be consumed and help with liver issues, regulate blood sugar, inflammation, and DNA. They can also lower cholesterol.
The roots of a dandelion can be used as a coffee substitute, it can be a laxative too.
Be careful with planting dandelions if you have dogs or cats, because they have a certain scent that makes them want to pee on it.
America’s famous heart association is against weeds and ironically enough, they’re the same company that sells herbicide (weed killers).
