Whenever i try to mention someone in a PM, they don’t get a notification for it
Sometimes PMs can get cluttered up with a lot of messages and not always people will want to go through that mess

Need to check notification setting of the user you were trying to tag

Because i don’t get a notification for it and i’m perfectly fine with pings
And i don’t see anything that turns off those pings

Maybe I’m mistaking something, but I think it was always disabled and the only person who got those were staff members to mark posts

funny thing is, i can be pinged in pms and get notified, but she can’t?
so it’s not everyone
And there were a reason for that with something like u have an new post alert anyway
Maybe it was broken and users did received it as a message/mention notification and some of the recent updates fixed it

but that’s just really odd that some people don’t see pings in pms imo
yea because its a private message, they only get a notification for it if they are in the pm
yeah but she’s saying that ever the pms she’s in she doesn’t get notified

Not only if someone is in pm, pm and mention would cause a double notification
One in PM’s one for a mention
