I’m not exaggerating.
We’ve come to a point where countries want to enforce a “child safety law” where you have to put your ID to access “adult websites”, EXCEPT it wasn’t about child safety.
However, they also want the KIDS to put the ID in to verify if they’re a kid which is absolutely insane.
This type of thing is currently happening in the U.S, U.K, canada, but it will keep spreading to other countries.

The “adult websites” in question, include sites like YOUTUBE and WIKIPEDIA. And then they shift their excuses to be that for “adult safety” too because they want to check if you’re doing “illegal activities”. And in the documents of this law, it does NOT say anything about child safety, it’s something completely different.

This is all about CONTROL.
Even they want to ban VPNs already because people want to escape this.
I’m not a big fan of the government to begin with, I rather not vote for any president because it doesn’t matter if i do or not, and I encourage others to do the same.
I’m not trying to fearmonger, i hate fearmongering because that is used in most leftists who do not fight for anything and corrupt politicians. But I REALLY am not exaggerating.
I try my best to get the most true info as much as possible, it’s possible that i may get some things wrong which i will let you guys know if i do.

People are buying VPNs, downloading browsers like TOR because they value their privacy.
Literally anything that is not such a big issue CAN AND WILL go in the “illegal activities” such as pirating things that you can not afford anywhere else. For example, games that came from the 90s or very early 2000s.
And if you were to criticize this, they will also ask for your ID. Because they’re against “hate speech”, which is what they included in this law.
Everything about this is INSANE, i know i said that before but i will say it again.
IT’S INSANE.
Sites like youtube want to put in an AI to guess your age, so there will be lots of adults falsely accused of being a minor so they have no choice but to put their ID.
Again, it’s all about control. It’s never about the children, it’s about control.

Because some songs are R rated so in order to listen to those, you have to.. put your ID in…

I just know this will become way worse for the generations following ours, with all the random wars and the decay of the planet as generations before have practically screwed us over. Lack of foresight, with a mix of ignorance, has become the curse of mankind.

I honestly feel bad for Gen Alpha and Beta, since they had to grow up with this.
Their own childhood is surrounded by the world basically collapsing around them, caught in attempts to “save the kids” when in reality most attempts don’t even have children in mind.

The UK government responded to the backlash basically saying “If you don’t agree with our new law, you’re a predator” which is an absolutely wild thing to say as a government MP
