idk I thought this would get your attention. I know AI wasn’t so prominent when I was newer here, but I was wondering if @blife450 still has an actual team creating cursors or just uses AI. It was a genuine question, also.. If its an original crew, what’s the hiring process?
Pretty sure he still has a team of artists.
BLife doesn’t seem like the type of person to use AI. Plus the cursors are still the same quality as they were before, so that is a big hint that they’re still being made by real people.
He did post an ai pic before on New Year’s Day
Once I pointed it out to him he changed it quickly
But yeah the cursors and artists aren’t ai
He has a team of artists, from my knowledge, he does not use ai, he just has a company (or something like that) called “BLife”
that is the reason for his name, or otherwise known as Beautiful life.
@astrid_dreemurr
How do you think they’re made?
A combination of elements, shapes, lines, and borders — all drawn in Illustrator, as I’ve explained many times before.
Each one is hand-drawn using a graphics tablet and pen by our two professional artists currently working with me
Holy w ank so this is how it goes
So many layers
Thank you for censoring j*bs
Its only small part of them
More complicated images like furry animals or humans force our designers to draw hundreds of those groups with elements or even shadows you see on the final image
So the final image might contain thousands of elements.
Thats why when you ask how long does it take to draw one cursor I just cannot give you a clear answer, it very depends on the subject of cursor. Could be 20 minutes, could be couple of hours
That’s th-th-th-the forbidden J word
Heh
You know what else is forbidden
yes, there can probably be thousands of layers, it just depends on how advanced the cursor is, and it probably can take hours to make too
yeah what he said
not that i know anything, im just stating what i think and what ive heard
