TW: Self-harm, corpse desecration, cultism, murder
Recently on the roblox spaces of the internet, something called “spawnism” has started gaining traction for numerous reasons, so I’m going to go over it and explain why it got popular and why it is something you should not engage with.
I have split this into seperate categories to make it easier to read and so you can skip over sensitive topics or skip to stuff you care about.
Spawnism Origin
Spawnism originates from the game Forsaken, specifically a character named TwoTime. In lore, they are a cultist who worships a “being” called “The Spawn” and is associated with the respawn symbol used in roblox games for respawn points (obviously)
Their character is depicted as being obsessed with The Spawn, thinking his ability to come back from dying once per round (upon filling the obligation meter) was gifted to him from The Spawn.
But the thing is, The Spawn is not real, they were never real. It was a hoax that the spawn cult fell for and adamantly believed in. TwoTime stabbed their best friend thinking they will respawn, but they were wrong and killed them for nothing which lead to them being forsakened, and their friend becoming a monster that’ll torment TwoTime and the other survivors (when they get added later down the road)
Explanation of Spawnism irl
Spawnism IRL is the same as in lore, its a cult that worships the spawn thinking they will gain abilities like rebirth, or “respawning”

Except where in forsaken they just wear clothing with the spawn symbol, irl people carve the spawn symbol into their skin and on corpses of animals.
The spawn cult started irl as a little joke amongst fans of forsaken, but a majority of people taken it too far.
The subreddit for Spawnism is tame, just forsakenfans making cosplays and such, but on Twitter there are accounts praising the spawn and saying that it has never hurt anyone and they’ve never been hurt by it.
But that doesn’t help it because people do harm themselves over it. Spawnism is a fictional concept that is a hoax even in the fiction it is from. It is not real, do not join the spawn cult, do something else.
Why It Can Be Dangerous
Spawnism is potentially dangerous if you take it too far. If you put the spawn symbol on your avatar or draw it or something harmless, that’s preferable over carving it into your skin.
Spawnism is loaded with PEDOPHILES encouraging you to cut yourself for the spawn, it’s better off you don’t interact with it whatsoever.Disturbing Content!
It might get so bad someone might do what TwoTime did in lore and end somebody’s life over it.
If you’re going to interact with this stuff (which isn’t advised), don’t actively believe it. A few jokes, avatar items, or joining a game won’t hurt, but carving into your arm will. Carving into somebody else will.
As with everything online and in life in general, be resposible. Don’t go crazy and do something brash.
This topic is short, but i just wanted to give a short explanation and warning against joining the spawn cult. I do not support nor am I recommending you to go engaging with this.
I suggest to stay far away from this stuff, it can be dangerous and ruin your life. Most spawnists are young teens, and this thing does not help you at all. It’ll just harm you depending on how far you go into this spawnism crap.
A cult is a cult, and a cult is dangerous. Do not engage with this material.
Especially not in a pedophilic cult.
