Terraria updated and brought hundreds of new items, blocks, and weapons.
I think some of these would not only be great as cursors, and also just be a great way to give some people a reminder to play the game again.

Some of the notable new stuff is either Summoner whips, collab items (Palworld and Deadcells), or misc items.
Some other ideas could be with the Clover, and wilted clover
Perhaps mage weapons and their projectiles as well.
Many good options, would love to see what the artists cook up!
