TW: Mentions of s3xul3zi3ti0n of minors, a few mentions of minors of having an onlyfans, a few mentions of p3d0philia, and gr00ming
This will uncover about kids, in the ages of 12-14 being pressured to be mature and act a certain way. This may be sensitive to some, so if you don’t like the things mentioned on here, click off and find another chat.
Now, with that out of the way, let’s get into it.
A lot of kids, especially teens, are pressured to be much more mature than their age instead of acting like how they’re supposed to act like.
And a lot of them would be mostly seen on tiktok, they don’t even look like their age, they’re literally 13 or younger, they just happened to have makeup that makes them look older, especially with the type of clothes they’re wearing.
You could even see this a lot on the “alt” side of tiktok, where there is 14 year old girls doing these things, they look like they’re 20 when in reality they’re much more younger than that.
Now, we all had that phase of wanting to grow up at some point in our lives, so we could do certain stuff while if it may be driving, makeup, and etc.
So, when we see people on TV, it could be our favorite models or celebrities, and we would want to be like that.
And i think that is what also causes teens to not look like their age, since typically the teens in shows and movies don’t even look like teens at all.
So, what makes them like this?
It is due to both media and parents pressuring them to act a certain way, and it’s not only parents but it can also be who they’re hanging out with and the type of people they’re around with.
Like, for example, Turning red a movie had a lot of controversy, and one of them was that the girls did not look or act like their age. Which is what made people mad apparently…
And if we take a look at today’s type of media, all the time 12 year olds are seen in more revealing outfits.
And even if you were to look look at some of today’s tweens, they look more like teenagers than their age.
And a lot of movies-TV shows tend to show teenagers like they’re 25, and so, having seen that especially from a younger age, they would think it’s normal and then later on become like that.
You would even see some tweens/preteens dating now because they typically get made fun of for not dating anyone, but this isn’t just happening in these ages.
Even for those who are 18, there is always people asking why they aren’t married or dating yet and haven’t done the deed. Obviously, that’s none of your business, so why do you wanna pry into someone’s social life? It’s just gonna pressure them to try and do those things that they never wanted to do. But you want them to.
At 20 and older, you’re pressured to drink alcohol and people, such as family and friends will judge you for not doing so just because of not drinking and will try to get you to do it.
And at 30, people will be asking why you have no kids and that you’re unmarried.
Anybody can get married at any age they want and have kids at any age, or even don’t have any, it isn’t your choice, it is theirs.
This also involves gr00ming for the reason why teens are what they are today.
A lot of them seem to have been raised by the internet more than their parents, so therefore they will be likely to do these type of things.
Especially with social media apps that can encourage such things, and note that even 16-17 year olds can gr00m, it doesn’t quite matter what age you have to be, you can still gr00m regardless.
Like, there has been friends of these girls who would encourage them to have an 0nlyfans, and it’s disgusting.
And typically, on these girl’s profiles on social media apps, such as instagram or whatever, you could be seeing old men, commenting on it.
It’s never any young, simpy boys, and these grown men aren’t afraid to admit their ages.
And to make matters worse, people say that the person in the photo is covering too much, and that they should reveal more. And it’s typically 13 year olds getting these types of comments.
It is so horrible, that even some people would message these girls and say that they will reveal private information if they don’t send nud3 pics. This is not false, as they do prove by showing that private information in DMs.
But i guess that’s how things work today…
Sooner or later, once they’re no longer adolescences, they realize they don’t even had a childhood to begin with, because they were forced to grow up.
They never seemed to had a chance to decide for themselves for what they want, it’s always what everyone else wants for them.
And i think that’s something we need to change, these type of behaviors shouldn’t be encouraged whatsoever.
If you know someone that might be suffering from this, maybe have a talk with them, maybe you can tell them to not post those pictures publicly or block those people.
But don’t pretend to be a therapist, you’re a friend, you’re just trying to do what you think will help them, but you won’t ever be a therapist and that’s something you always gotta remember.
And if you wanna be there for someone, you don’t say “ok” to everything they say about something wrong in their lives, you made them talk about their lives and then you proceed to say ok? Do you not understand how disrespectful is that?
If you can’t talk properly to those type of things, then maybe don’t try to make them open up to you, because that way they will end up losing trust in you and won’t ever do that again.
