Well hello again, my fellow friends. It’s me again, the one and only, Dash; and I am here because today will be a monumental day, as, well, this is my FIRST public Roleplay that I have posted since the fall of CCC back during October of last year. Now, with that out of the way, Let’s delve into our story, shall we?
Story:
“It was a calm summer day in Willow Valley. Everything was good. The birds were singing, the summer insects of field and forest were busy doing what they do best, And the regular festivities of summer were in full swing… That was, until recently. Due to unforeseen circumstances, a freak winter storm has blown through the area, destroying summer crops and burying the roads in thick snowbanks and treacherous ice. Unfortunately, due to the sudden blizzard, Rescue teams on Helicopters can’t come and rescue anyone, and the roads are out. Due to the storm, food and other supply shipments to the valley have been halted, and Food is becoming increasingly scarce with each passing day. The nights are worse, however. With the hours between dusk and dawn being exceptionally chilly, if one is not prepared to last through the storm, they won’t make it to the morning. So, It’s a battle against the elements, in order to hold out in the wake of these frigid conditions until the Ice thaws and the snow melts. Will you make it through, or will you be doomed to freeze?”
My Character:
Name: Bylur
Age: 126 (Believe it or not, but, since Nagas are half reptile, they can live for long periods of time!)
Gender: Male
Height: 6’1
Weight: 225 pounds (Mostly muscle, especially in the tail)
Species: Frost Naga (Frost Nagas, unlike other members of the species, have adapted to the cold like nobody’s business)
Personality: Bold, Curious, Determined, Relaxed, especially around his friends. Despite his laidback style, he is a Naga, which are very efficient hunters… …But for this species, Of fish. The bulk of this species’ diet is mostly made up of fish, with terrestrial animals like rodents, birds, and wild ungulates like deer occasionally being found in their diets, along with tubers, roots, plant material and the occasional insect.
Likes: Fish, helping out his friends, sleeping, colder weather, a warm bowl of soup, And arrowhead and Geode collecting.
Dislikes: Warm conditions (Frost Nagas don’t do too well in warm climates, like Borneo or the Mojave), Dishonesty, being disturbed in his sleep (Nagas, regardless of the subspecies, really like their sleep!)
Phobias: Mild Astraphobia (Fear of Thunderstorms)
Extra info: As a Frost Naga, Bylur is able to regulate his own body heat, which isn’t common in other species of Naga. He also has venom (injected by his first set of fangs, which are long and slender, but hollow at the tip), which can paralyze a fish quickly. His underbelly scales are perfect for traction on ice, as well as climbing trees and other surfaces. He has a staff, but he might not use it much. It’s more of a statement piece, but can be used to conjure ice and snow magic if he’s in a pinch.
